OPEN TO STUDENTS + FIRST DEGREE BLACK BELT GRADUATES

This training is open to both Nia students and Nia First Degree Black Belt graduates.

  • Nia First Degree Black Belt Graduates who complete the training and successfully engage in the required reflective process and knowledge review are eligible to receive the Nia certification, Second Degree Black Belt.

  • Students who complete the training will receive an Art of Alchemy Certificate of Completion. Students are not required to engage in the reflective process and knowledge review. 

PLEASE NOTE: Second Degree Black Belt certification is available only to graduates of the Nia First Degree Black Belt training and requires completion of the reflective and knowledge review components.

The Second Degree Black Belt: Art of Alchemy is the template for understanding yourself, your relationship to the world around you, and a path to the hidden, magnificent power within.

Second Degree Black Belt is for those who desire to expand their mastery and incorporate the magic of Nia into their life and practice.

  • The Art of Alchemy explores the matter, mystery, and motion of your life as you consciously make the choice to step into the shoes of the sacred alchemist.

  • Through the seed of alchemy, you will dive deeper into the fundamental process of growth and transformation, developing the inner awareness to transmute physical matter into the gold of feeling healthy, alive, present, and loving.

  • Upon completion, you will clearly see the journey taken, honoring the wisdom and skills acquired and empowering yourself for your ongoing journey of Body + Life transformation.

Meet Your Trainer

Founder, Director, Educator, Author, + Artist of Nia Technique, Inc. Debbie Rosas

Debbie Rosas celebrates decades of research and mastery in the Arts and Sciences, including 40+ years of experience with essences of martial arts, dance arts, and healing arts, as well as, expertise in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. Founder, Director, Educator, Author, and Artist of The Nia Technique, a neuromuscular integrative action methodology for health and wellness; Nia is based on Debbie’s development of the principles known as, “The Body’s Way,” which situates a personal relationship with the physical body through sensory awareness that engages the holistic mental, emotional, and spiritual growth and development of each human experience for sustainable change in their world and the world around them.

PRE-REQUISITES:

This training is open to both Nia students and Nia First Degree Black Belt graduates.

AFTER YOUR TRAINING:

After you graduate as a Nia Second Degree Black Belt, you are invited to continue your Nia journey through one of three Nia Membership paths:

  • Dancing Through Life: For the passionate and committed Nia graduate

  • Sacred Athlete: For the Nia graduate interested in learning and practicing teaching skill

  • Sacred Livelihood: For aspiring Nia Teaching Professionals

CANCELLATION + TRANSFER POLICY

Registration and instruction fees are non-refundable. Should you cancel your registration more than 30 days prior to the training start date, the registration fee will be credited to your Nia account. Should you cancel your registration less than 30 days prior to the training start date, you will incur a cancellation fee of $250, which will be deducted from your registration fee. The remaining balance will be credited to your Nia account.
